GALENTINES DAY FEB 13th 6-8pm : Strawberry Galettes + Handpies
Grab your gal pals and join us for a fun evening of STRAWBERRIES, PASTRY CREAM, + Flaky Tart Pastry Dough.
Together we will demo some these recipes, roll our own flaky pie dough and assemble strawberry galettes, and strawberry poptarts (handpies) just in time for VALENTINE’s DAY!
Things covered: Slicing + mascerating strawberries, preparing vanilla bean pastry cream, mixing + rolling flaky pastry dough
Each guest will go home with recipes + instructions, a galette, and a handpie- maybe 2-3!
We will provide Wine + NA drinks from Elemental Spirits + Zero Co. We will also provide a light grazing board.
Parking for class attendees is available in the shop (for free) to the side of the old highland inn (I believe they charge there and are more strict), and ample free parking on Blue Ridge and the surrounding neighborhood.
Unfortunately, there are no refunds for classes. We purchase ingredients, wine, everything in advance and with refunding we lose time and money having to schedule people in the class… With 48 hours in advance notice, we are able to give you a 50% credit on another class, but again, please understand that we have to fill these seats to make it work. Thank you!
