Our focaccia class is a low key delicious slightly hands class teaching the simplicity of Liguria, Italy’s bready staple. We’ll be spending the evening mixing, shaping, baking, dressing, and eating delicious and traditional Ligurian sourdough focaccia. This is an intimate fun class of 8 people so it is imperative that you be on time. We will have wine and NA drinks from Elemental The class is roughly 2 hours 6pm-8pm.

LOCATION: Colette Bread & Bakeshop 636 North Highland Ave NE 30306.

Things covered: a brief overview of natural /sourdough fermentation tools for at home baking, focaccia formula, and we have fun focaccia fiesta…i.e. we eat!

Each guest will go home with our Focaccia recipe and lots of yummy Focaccia. This class is NOT a sourdough class therefore guests will not get any sourdough starter. You are welcome to buy starter for $5 and I’m happy to explain the reasoning behind that individually!

Parking for class attendees : there is parking in front of the shop, but our building owners have started charging. You must log on to the app and complete the sign in process. There is also parking to the side of the old highland inn (I believe they charge there and are more strict), and ample free parking on Blue Ridge and the surrounding neighborhood.

Unfortunately, there are no refunds for classes. We purchase ingredients, wine, everything in advance and with refunding we lose time and money having to schedule people in the class… With 48 hours in advance notice, we are able to give you a 50% credit on another class, but again, please understand that we have to fill these seats to make it work. Thank you!
